“The legal battlefield has been chosen and the line in the sand has been drawn”, according to a spokesperson for the newly formed Texas based legal alliance that has coined itself, the “American Dream Team.” The organization represents a civil lawsuit that was filed on August 5, 2022 in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Case Number 4:22-cv-00682-SDJ. The federal lawsuit aims to vindicate the constitutional rights of three January Six criminal defendants, but will indirectly predicate the vindication of constitutional rights for all Americans against the unlawful antics of the Select Committee On January Six and Joe Biden’s tyrannical federal government according to the source.

“If successful, the work of the Dream Team could very well shut down the Committee and any others like it.”

The Private People of America VS. The Select Committee on January Six

The American Dream Team was assembled and is now primed for the courtroom showdown between the private people of America, and the tyrannically formed Select Committee on January Six. The Dream Team is composed of some of the most experienced legal minds in the country, and is headed by a dynamic trio of courtroom litigators including Texas based attorney Mark J. Lieberman, criminal defense attorney Steven Metcalf from New York, and New Mexico’s constitutional scholar and attorney Professor David Clements. According to Metcalf, the Select Committee On January Six is completely illegitimate in principle and function. “This Committee is literally attempting to try my client’s case complete with witness testimony and evidence that we have no opportunity to respond to.”

Mark Lieberman

Texas based attorney
Mark J. Lieberman

As a Dream Team co-counsel, Mark Lieberman brings legal tenure and old school wisdom to the team. Lieberman has successfully argued before courts on many state and federal levels to include the United States Supreme Court. Lieberman’s demeanor and grand sense of reason has resulted in legal victories for the majority of his clients, even four legged ones. Lieberman once defended a black German Sheppard in the nation’s first “K-9” death penalty case. “The dog was innocent and he did not deserve to die. So I took him on as a client and we won the jury verdict.”

Steven Metcalf

Criminal defense attorney
Steven Metcalf from New York

Metcalf represents Treniss Evans, former United States Marine Dominic “Dom” Pezzola and Edward Jacob “Jake” Lang. Pezzola and Lang are two of the highest profiled cases of all January 6th related federal prosecutions. Metcalf also successfully displayed his litigation skills in persuading a District of Columbia federal court to completely dismiss the Title 18 USC § 1512 charge against Lang earlier this spring. The 1512 charge is considered to be the federal government’s crim-dela-crim of felony charges for many of the January six criminal defendants. The felony charge allows the government to seek severe and lengthy prison terms upon conviction.

David Clements

New Mexico’s constitutional scholar
and attorney Professor David Clements

Professor David Clements brings to the case his own brand of zeal and expertise. The professor, who specializes in constitutional law, has joined the Dream Team to assure Americans that the offensive battle in which the Team collectively has waged upon the federal government is grounded on constitutional principles. “There is a real cause of action here, and somebody has to rein the federal government in.”

Section 1512 of Title 18 constitutes a broad prohibition against tampering with a witness, victim or informant. It proscribes conduct intended to illegitimately affect the presentation of evidence in Federal proceedings or the communication of information to Federal law enforcement officers.

Title 18 USC § 1512

The Importance of this Case

If the ambitious work of the Dream Team brings about success, then according to the law as it now stands, every action that has been previously taken by the Select Committee On January Six, would be completely nullified for exceeding the authority of the Legislative Branch and usurping the constitutional jurisdiction of the Federal Judiciary.

“Such nullifications could directly impact any potential criminal liability against former President Donald Trump in relation to the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, as well as the July 22, 2022 conviction of former Trump advisor Steve Bannon.”

Bannon was convicted in Washington, DC on two counts of contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena issued by the Select Committee On January Six, and one count of withholding documents from the same committee.

Most of the country’s lawyers agree that the federal government has trotted well beyond its constitutional boundaries, but a large number of American Bar Members appear to be either afraid to take on the government in a corrective challenge, or are discouraged by the lack of immediate gratuity from such a cause. “Not all Americans will be present in the courtroom, but the welfare and freedom of every American is at the forefront of this historic legal battle. We are fighting for the rights and freedoms of every man, woman, and child who calls America their home” reported a Dream Team staffer.
